Each year, in October, participants from across the state are invited to take a bite out of an apple grown in New York for an event known as The Big Apple Crunch. This year the FCCLA and FFA chapters at Livingston Manor Central School outdid themselves by preparing apple slices for the entire school to enjoy. Not only that, but they created a delicious homemade caramel dip and spice mixture for every child in the school to try. #BigAppleCrunch #FarmToSchoolFriday.
