The Livingston Manor-Roscoe Merger Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, April 26, at Roscoe Central School. A tour of the building will begin at 5:15 p.m., with the meeting to begin at 6. The meeting is open to the public, and will be available via Zoom.
Livingston Manor and Roscoe district residents are invited to respond to a short, voluntary, anonymous survey to share feedback about the proposed merger.
The survey will close prior to Tuesday’s meeting, but additional feedback opportunities will be available in May and over the summer.
The 18-member Advisory Committee is meeting monthly with the merger consultants during the spring to help inform the study. Meeting locations alternate between the two districts. The committee’s role is to provide information and feedback about aspects of the two districts that will be evaluated in the merger study, including staffing, finances, academic programs, transportation, and facilities. It is expected that the
merger report will be presented to the boards of education at the end of the summer.
Tuesday’s meeting will include a presentation by representatives of Castallo & Silky LLC, who are working with the districts on the merger study. More information about the proposed merger is available at the Livingston Manor merger study page.
