Livingston Manor-Roscoe student-athletes will be celebrated differently this year.

Rather than having two seasonal awards banquets, as had been done in the past, this year the districts will host two separate end-of-the-year athletic awards banquets: one for all junior varsity and modified athletes on June 3, and another for all varsity players on June 11.

“This new format aims to bring together athletes from all teams, fostering a stronger sense of community and school pride,” said Christopher Hubert, director of Educational Programs, Services, and Athletics at both districts. “By celebrating our athletes collectively, we provide a unique opportunity for them to learn about and appreciate the accomplishments of their peers across different sports.

“This inclusive approach ensures that all athletes, regardless of their season, are recognized and celebrated for their hard work and dedication, encouraging greater participation across all sports,” Hubert continued.

More details regarding the banquets will be provided as the dates get closer.
