MISSION STATEMENT:

The Livingston Manor Athletics Department, administration, and the Board of Education believes that involvement in extracurricular activities encourages and enhances the development of well-rounded individuals. Participation in athletics is deemed a privilege and not a right.  Student-athletes who participate in interscholastic athletics are to recognize their obligation to one’s self, teammates, coaching staff, school, and community.  During these experiences we strive to develop positive role models, who portray proper sportsmanship, self-control, character, and self-discipline.

The following Code of Conduct as put forth by the Livingston Manor Central School shall govern all participants in interscholastic athletics with no exception.  These standards are implemented to run hand-in-hand with that of the school district.  All grading procedures, rules, and regulations parallel that of the school systems.  All rules must be read and acknowledged prior to participation in any and all sports that the student-athlete partakes in.  Any violation of the Code of Conduct is considered serious and will be documented and acted upon quickly.  Violation of both the school and/or athletic Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary according to the severity of the incident.

Important, see below:

All student-athletes must have a current sports physical to take part in Athletics.

Please see Mrs. Davis, the school nurse, if you have questions regarding sports physicals. Sports physicals are only valid for one calendar year.
